50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis James Jackson III, bought a mansion for $4.1 million in September 2003 at Farmington, Connecticut. Farmington is about 10 miles west of Hartford with population of 24,000 and is home to an all girls boarding school and a private 18-hole golf course and private country club.

The 48,500 square foot mansion has 18 bedrooms, 25 full bathrooms, 12 half bathrooms five Jacuzzis, an elevator, two billiard rooms, a movie theater and a locker room. The house also comes with a man-made pond, boathouse and separate servants' quarters. Two samurai warriors stand guard at the entrance. If 50cent has $4.1 million home mortgage, he probably only pays a little more than $25,000 a month. Compare to his other spending, home mortgage payment is only small part of total bills.

The mansion was owned by Monica Turner Tyson who is former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson's ex-wife. Monica acquired it for $1 as part of her divorce settlement with Tyson. Tyson bought the mansion for $2.7 million in 1996. The mortgage rate at that time was much high than recent years, but Monica did not need to worry or even think about refinance mortgage loan. It was all Mike's job to earn the income to pay the home mortgage and all other tax and maintenance expenses.

The house is so big. When 50 Cent had his housewarming party, a liquor store needed a cargo van to deliver his order of Bacardi beverages.

His chef is also appears regularly at the fancy Santilli's Epicure Market, where she comes in every Friday to pick up filet mignon, fresh tuna and swordfish and lot of spring water. His neighbors sometimes see him jogging or riding an all-terrain vehicle. He often takes a helicopter home from New York City.
